Kimberlie England spent 12 years as a principal for a regional business consulting firm. Her client projects included designing and executing employee communication campaigns, planning and facilitating leadership development programs, and coaching leaders using Emotional Intelligence principles. She then founded Blue Feather Consulting to use her over-twenty years of Human Capital consulting experience to drive strategic change initiatives within varying industries, cultures, and structures. She has successfully led clients into new leadership roles and supported organizations through culture transformations and new HR strategies. Her work with nonprofit organizations includes improving Board operations, facilitating strategic planning, and preparing for leadership transitions.
In 2022, Kimberlie co-authored Mission Next, a book to help service members transition from the military to the civilian workforce. Her second book, HR’s Mission Next, helps organizational leaders develop strategies to recruit and retain veterans. She frequently speaks at HR conferences and business/nonprofit association meetings on a wide variety of topics, including strategic planning, finding your ideal self, and veteran transition challenges.
Kimberlie received her Executive Coaching certificate from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and holds her Board Certified Coach (BCC) certification. She also uses her certification in Compression Planning to support strategic planning for a wide range of clients. Kimberlie earned multiple HR certifications, including Professional in Human Resources (PHR), SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), and Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS). She received her MBA from the University of Findlay and her BBA from the University of Toledo.
Kimberlie volunteers extensively in her community, including serving for over 10 years as the Chair of the Human Resources Committee for the Board of Directors of The Ability Center of Greater Toledo. She was instrumental in merging the Assistance Dogs of America into a program of The Ability Center. She is currently a member of the Annapolis Rotary Club and the Naval Academy Garden Club.
In John's 26 years as a licensed attorney, he represented hospitals and health care systems, small businesses, insurance companies, and helped new businesses build their corporation formation documents and bylaws. He also served in the Pennsylvania National Guard and Michigan National Guard for 32 years both part-time and on active duty. He served as a military attorney in several capacities, including active-duty service as General Counsel for the Michigan National Guard and as a Task Force Judge Advocate during a combat deployment in Afghanistan where he was awarded the Bronze Star.
John is serving a three-year term on the Annapolis Film Festival Board of Directors and is currently on the Finance Committee. He is also a volunteer Captain with Sail Beyond Cancer-Annapolis, which harnesses the healing power of the water and wind to help people who are challenged by cancer. John's community service also includes seven years as a Board member and Board chair for the State of Michigan Retirement Board—providing fiscal oversight for $90 million in pension fund investments. He provided strategic leadership on advisory Boards for Thomas Cooley Law School's Service to Soldiers Program, Ingham County (Michigan) Veterans Treatment Court, and University of Michigan Veterans' Legal Clinic. He served on Boards of Directors for the YMCA of Greater Lansing, Ft. Custer Historical Society, and Camp Grayling Officers Club where he did fundraising and provided legal, and budgetary guidance. John also volunteered with Habitat for Humanity in Lansing, Michigan for several years.
Dr. Wojcik earned a Doctor of Business Administration degree from Baker College where he defended his research-based dissertation on hurdles veterans face when they leave active duty. In addition to publishing numerous peer-reviewed articles, he also co-authored Mission Next, and HR's Mission Next to help veterans transition to the civilian world—and to help HR leaders recruit, onboard, and retain them. He received his BA from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and his Master of Strategic Studies degree from the U.S. Army War College and Juris Doctor from Thomas Cooley Law School.
John is a proud Flagship 2023 graduate from Leadership Anne Arundel. His nonprofit work in the National Capital Region includes projects to build donor bases, increase public awareness, grant writing, Board development, strategic communications, and strategic planning. He is a member of the Army and Navy Club, the Annapolis Fleet Reserve Club and is a lifetime member of the VFW, American Legion, Military Officers Association of America, National Guard Association of the U.S., and the Association of the U.S. Army.
